About Correlace

A site for structured thinking about AI, systems, correlation and control.

Background

Correlace is being developed as a place to publish and test ideas that sit between artificial intelligence, financial market infrastructure and adaptive systems.

The perspective is deliberately practical. Models are interesting, but the more important question is how they behave inside systems that must remain stable, auditable and bounded.

Technical history

Superconducting magnetic separation

One early turnaround project involved a superconducting magnet business using 5T magnets to remove semi-magnetic impurities from kaolin slurry, increasing product value from roughly $20 per ton to over $100 per ton.

The work formed part of Jeremy Goodes’ Cryogenic Consultants business and contributed to the formation of Carpco SMS, where Carpco provided the commercial backbone.

The system did not change the material. It removed what prevented the material from being valuable.
